A: Nothing! Well, not if you don’t want it to. For those looking for a photographer, it’s absolutely free – and always will be. For photographers, having your company listed here is free too, but you do have the ability to set your company apart from the rest by purchasing a “premium listing” at a very reasonable US$3/month.

Q: Why?

A: Why? Why is it free? Why is the site here? Well, first off the site supports itself through advertising revenue. I didn’t start it to make money. I recently got married and had a destination wedding overseas. One of my biggest issues was finding a great, reliable photographer without someone to be able to recommend one for me. I found there wasn’t a great resource to look to when needing a photographer. What’s the saying? Necessity is the mother of invention? Anyways, that’s why.

Q: So what’s in it for you?

A: Well, I suppose it’s a pay it forward thing. I spent a good amount of time looking for a good photographer and, I must admit, became a bit frustrated. So, I suppose I’m trying to help others out. Oh, and I’m a photographer too, based in Sydney. I get to list my site here too.
